These are the names of the prisoners exchanged between the Houthi militia and al-Qaeda

A special source revealed to Al-Masdar Online a prisoner exchange deal between the Houthi group and al-Qaeda, in Al-Baydha governorate, central Yemen, last week.

The source, who asked not to be named, said that local mediation was able to complete the deal, on the basis of the release of three members of the extremist group, in exchange for six members of the Houthi militia.

According to the source, the deal was made last Friday (September 13th), and the two teams received their elements in the Qaifa area of Al-Baydha, after a lunch that brought the two teams together.

Last Friday, the Houthis' prisoners' committee published the names of six Houthis, who said they were "released in an exchange deal with the enemy in Al-Baydha province," without mentioning the party with which the exchange was made, or the names of those released in return.
