Because of the extra loads during Ramadan. Power disconnect 12 hours per day for high consumers in Hadramawt coast

Today, the Hadramawt Electricity Foundation began implementing a decision by the Hadramawt governor to reduce loads on the high consuming clients during the month of Ramadan.

The decision, which was obtained by Al-Masdar  online, included a directive from the governor of Hadramawt Faraj al-Bahssani to the director of the Electricity corporation on the coast of Hadramawt, to cut off  the electricity from the major commercial buildings and units, factories, laboratories, private hospitals and hotels and trade fairs for 12 hours a day.

The decision attributed the reasons for this action as a result of the increase in loads during the month of Ramadan, which will affect the electricity service for citizens.

The decision found a state of discontent among merchants and investors in the Hadramawt coast who considered it inappropriate to affect their business and investment.

Citizens are also divided between supporters of the decision in that it will reduce the hours of long-time and between exhibitions of the fact that the citizen will pay for the raises  of traders and investors prices of their services to consumers.

The cities of the Hadramawt coast are experiencing a major deterioration in the electricity service during the month of Ramadan, reaching more than 6 hours a day intermittently.
