Government forces control new positions in Baqem front in Sa'ada Governorate

Government troops on Monday took control of new positions in Baqem front of Sa'dah Governorate, the stronghold of the al-Houthi group after fierce battles against the militants of the al-Houthi.

According to the state news agency Saba, the commander of Aleb axis  Brigadier Yasser Megally was quoted as saying that troops from the 63 Brigade and the 9th Infantry Brigade, took control of Mount Radman, which overlooks the al-Houthi supply road to Baqem Front, and the remainder of the villages of  Al-Zammah.

This came after government forces launched a qualitative military operation in Baqem front.

Sa'dah Governorate is witnessing four fronts of fighting between government forces and the Houthis, but the control of the land is limited, and the fighting has turned into a war of attrition for both sides.
