WHO: More than 174 thousand families displaced from Hodeidah

More than 174 000 families have been displaced from the western province of Hodeidah since the escalation of the conflict between government forces and the Houthis last year, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Tuesday.

In its blog post on Facebook, the organization explained that about 174 thousand and 717 families, from June 2018 to January 2019, were displaced from Hodeidah.

These families have been displaced throughout the country.

It referred to its efforts to deliver health services to internally displaced people, including awareness-raising and immunization against measles and rubella. IDPs are suffering from difficult living conditions.
